Alexander Wrighton started his career by working for the family kitchen business, Wrighton Kitchens, in Walthamstow and Nazeing, in 1978.

Following the sale of the business, Alexander became the main importer of bulthaup kitchens from Germany in 1982. He has been responsible for developing the brand throughout the London showrooms ever since.

Alexander opened the flagship bulthaup showroom on Wigmore Street in 1988 and over the past quarter of a century it has arguably proven to be bulthaup's most successful showroom. He has built the solid foundations of the business by providing an unparalleled level of service to his customers and being totally dedicated to the brand. Alexander was the first kitchen retailer in the UK to brand his business with a manufacturer's name above the door, with that one variety of product available to the client - an unheard of phenomenon at that time.

Alexander is extremely proud of the team he has assembled, having some 30 members of staff, all fully factory trained and the majority of whom have been with him for many years.

He believes that blend of talent and experience goes a long way to explaining the company's success.
